We were wondering around late at night on a freezing night in Bruges and went in here for a drink to warm up.
When we arrived there were only two other people in the bar but it seems we arrived just before the rush as, by the time we left, it was packed.
Cool decor, comfy seats and a very friendly and helpful barman made this well worth a visit. And when I asked him to recommend a local beer, he presented me with a bottle of Bourgogne des Flandres, which went on to be my poison of choice in Bruges….we even visited the brewery and enjoyed it on draft the next day.
Even when the place was very busy, the lone barman was quick with the service and made sure nobody was ignored.
A cracking little bar just off the main square in one of the world’s most perfect cities.
